The Wisconsin Student Planning Association
coordinates and engages in activities that:
- Create and identify professional development
opportunities that enable students to explore different
issues and career paths in the field of planning
- Advocate student interests in the department
and the university
- Foster community among planning students
through social events and service projects
- Facilitate exchanges and networking opportunities
for students with individuals, organizations, and academic
departments

Mission
Statement
The Wisconsin
Student Planning Association is an organization of students
in the Department of Urban and Regional Planning at UW-Madison,
who share a common desire to use their academic training
to effect social change. The organization exists to provide
these students with a network and a community for intellectual
and social exchange beyond the classroom setting.
